The series celebrate the bizarre shelf life of canned food. The contents of a can begin as perishable matter that would quickly spoil if left as they are. Through processing and canning, decay is postponed and time is sealed out. What should have been temporary is forced into endurance.
Removed from their containers and solidified, these contents appear as unintentional sculptures shaped by human desire displaying the denial of decay, gestures of quiet violence against time.
